I love the ages of my kids right now, especially Davis who is about to be five. It seems that every few months he has a new fixation. We were in the superhero mode for a loooooong time, then came the power rangers and now have settled on skeletons (he calls them Dem Bones). He doesn’t just want to wear his skeleton costume all the time, he also wants to color pictures of them daily, make life-size skeletons out of paper, pasta, beads (really anything I will let him) and read books on bones. The other day we went to the library and brought every book home that had to do with the skeletal system. I love seeing such a great desire in him to learn. Now if I can just keep coming up with creative ways to make a skeleton!
